Every year we provide the service of hoisting Lungta Prayer Flags in the sacred place of Pharping, Nepal.
Traditionally, Lungtas are hung at the time of the Tibetan New Year (Losar) in order to promote health, harmony and prosperity for the year to come. It is customary to hang the number of flags that correspond with one’s age.
